🚀 We are seeking an experienced and passionate UX Lead Designer to own the platform’s full UX lifecycle—from first research sprint to production-ready specs. This is a high-trust role for someone with platform thinking, who can lead research, orchestrate design strategy, and ship clickable, testable prototypes that reflect a multi-sided experience ecosystem (creators, fans, organisers, rights holders, etc.).

As UX Lead Designer, you will be leading the end-to-end design strategy and execution of an experience platform built for creators, fans, and industry stakeholders. You’ll be embedded in a dynamic team of disruptors—from engineers and product managers to smart contract architects—who thrive on challenging the status quo.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design Strategy: Own the UX vision across the platform’s lifecycle—from discovery to launch, covering user onboarding, digital identity, ticketing, rights licensing, live streaming, monetisation dashboards, and more.
• Run High-Fidelity Workshops: Facilitate cross-functional workshops with stakeholders to rapidly prototype and validate concepts.
• Conduct Comprehensive User Research: 
  • RITE (Rapid Iterative Testing and Evaluation): Lead iterative usability testing for swift design refinement.
  • Service Safari: Experience the user journey directly to uncover critical touchpoints.
  • In-Depth Interviews (IDI): Engage in deep user interviews to understand motivations, behaviours, and needs.
• Develop Clickable Prototypes: Build polished, interactive MLP-level prototypes (preferably in Protopie).
• Manage UX Delivery: Oversee the UX roadmap, drive agile design sprints, and ensure UX consistency across features and user flows.
• Mentor and Collaborate: Build and lead a small but mighty team of UX/UI designers; collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership.
• Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the CEO, CTO, CPO, and other stakeholders to ensure design strategies align with business goals.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, UX Design, Digital Media, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 6-8 years in a Design Lead role with demonstrable experience in:
  • Applying User-Centered Agile Methods, including Phase 0 (initial research) and iterative testing.
  • End-to-end design project management, including workshop facilitation.
  • RITE, Service Safari, and IDI research methodologies.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite) and prototyping software, preferably Protopie.
• Research and Project Skills:
  • Skilled in balancing user needs with business requirements, ensuring both user-centered and commercially viable decisions.
  • Proven capability to complete responsibilities independently, maintaining integrity without AI or LLM tools.
• Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
