🔎 Who we're looking for

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in e-commerce, Shopify, and/or agency experience. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various e-commerce projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget, scope, and timeline.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and clients, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Manage e-commerce team capacity and workload

E-commerce Expertise:

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients regarding e-commerce strategies, website design, user experience, and conversion optimization.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their business goals, requirements, and expectations.
• Translate technical concepts into understandable terms for clients, bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Act as the gatekeeper for new requests and flow of information, being the first line of defence and coordinator of incoming asks from clients
• Proactively address client concerns and provide regular project updates to ensure client satisfaction.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and marketers, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate communication and foster a collaborative environment between technical teams and clients, ensuring effective exchange of ideas and information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the e-commerce industry, preferably with expertise in Shopify.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, website development processes, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects/account/clients simultaneously.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills to identify and resolve project-related issues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
