About Our Client
Our client is a specialized consultancy in the metalworking and welding industry, providing certification expertise to companies that rely on welding procedures and product compliance in their daily operations.
Over the past 4 years, they have built a digital platform that helps clients:
- Track and manage welding certificates
- Stay in control of service deadlines and documentation
- Ensure compliance with quality and product standards
The platform is already trusted by clients and continues to grow with new features and improvements.
The Role
We are looking for an independent Full-Stack Laravel Developer to take over the ongoing development and maintenance of our client's platform. You’ll be working closely with the founder, who has deep industry knowledge, and will play a key role in shaping the future of the product.
This is a long-term, flexible freelance opportunity with consistent work (approx. 30–40 hours per month), and plenty of room for growth as the platform evolves.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and enhance the existing Laravel-based platform
- Develop new features (both backend and frontend) based on specifications and feedback
- Ensure smooth operation of servers and infrastructure (basic setup and maintenance)
- Collaborate directly with the founder through clear and simple communication (often via video walkthroughs)
- Contribute ideas and challenge solutions where it makes sense
- Support usability improvements for clients who rely on the platform daily
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience with PHP and Laravel
- Full-stack skills: comfortable with both backend and frontend work
- Able to manage infrastructure setup and maintenance (servers, databases, deployments)
- Independent, proactive, and comfortable working without heavy processes or tools
- Strong communicator who can collaborate directly and test features thoroughly
- Available for 30–40 hours/month, with flexibility for more hours in the first months as you onboard
