Our client is a well-known transportation company specializing in recruiting skilled EU workers—such as truck drivers, mechanics, and forklift operators—for leading logistics, transport, and automotive companies in the Netherlands.
They are now looking for a Chief Operating Officer / Operational Director to take full operational ownership and guide them through their next growth phase.
Role Description
As COO, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of the organization. You will ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance. Together with the founders and leadership team, you will develop, optimize, and implement processes that support sustainable growth. Your strong background in agency operations, financial management, and people leadership will be key to building a resilient organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Lead and optimize daily operations across recruitment, housing/facility management, HR, and client delivery
- Process Optimization: Design, implement, and improve scalable processes to support growth
- Financial Management: Take responsibility for P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring cost efficiency
- People & Culture: Lead multicultural teams and support HR in attracting, retaining, and developing talent across Europe
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with sales, operations, and recruitment to ensure seamless client and candidate experiences
- Strategic Growth: Translate the company vision into actionable strategies, steering Cruisr towards operational excellence
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in an agency or service-driven company (100–500 employees)
- Demonstrated experience managing operations in an international or multicultural environment
- Strong knowledge of facility management and workforce logistics
- Solid background in finance, budgeting, and P&L responsibility
- Experience building or optimizing operational processes and business systems
- Senior-level background in Sales, Operations, Management, or HR
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality and results-oriented approach
- Fluent in Dutch and English (this is a hard requirement)
