Senior iOS Engineer / Athlee
Athlee is a Danish startup building a fun and engaging swim practice video solution based on an innovative underwater camera. Their ambition is to greatly improve the swimming skills of both competitive swimmers and beginners - but they are not all swimmers. They just like having fun building technology for kids and young people to help them be even better at what they love doing. Technology is used anywhere from small swim clubs to national teams.
They're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join their company, where you will play an important role in shaping future app offerings. You will be part of getting to know customers' pain points and creating a great user experience. Like most of their team members, you will almost entirely be working remotely.
📍Responsibilities:
- Designing and building a mobile application for Apple’s iOS platform
- Collaborating with the founder and design team to define app features
- Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Fixing application bugs before the final release
- Publishing application on App Store
- Maintaining the code and atomization of the application
- Designing and implementing application updates
📑Requirements:
- Solid experience with FFMPEG and VLC and streaming with RTSP
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent skill level
- Proven experience as an app developer (min. 3 years)
- Have published one or more iOS apps in the app store
- Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, SPM/Cocoa Touch, and UIKit
- Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines
- Proficient in code versioning using Git
- Experience with continuous integration
